  16. Excuse me for bugging here, but this is definitly not true.

  18. The Falcon has a peticular faster BUS to ST-RAM than the Amiga1200 has to it's 
  19. ChipRAM (equivalent of ST-RAM). The Amiga1200 has about half the access speed 
  20. to ChipRAM than the Falcon has to ST-RAM. I think the figures are something 
  21. like 8.2 MB/s ST-RAM (Falcon@16Mhz) and 4.5 MB/s ChipRAM (Amiga1200@14Mhz).
  22. And an Amiga1200 has a 68020 CPU, which has a smaller cache, hence a bit slower 
  23. in general performance. Of course most 1200's are accelerated in some way 
  24. or another.

  26. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to advocate anything. I just think that 
  27. information should be consistent.

  34. Or maybe we should just drop that line, since most Amiga-owners can figure 
  35. it out themselves :-)

  42. On my 36 Mhz 68030 FX-Falcon with FX-RAM (pheudo FastRAM) the framerate never 
  43. goes below 7.9 Fps and is mostly at about 10 Fps - ie. about twice as fast.
  44. This is at 320x200 Full-Screen.

  46. At 160x200 FullScreen it never drops below 9.2 Fps and runs at mostly 13 Fps.
